William got another case of the giggles...

William doesn't often get a case of the giggles, but he did this afternoon. We love capturing it on video because it doesn't happen very often.

6 Months Old!

Wow. I can't believe it's been six months since William blessed our lives. And, I can't believe how delinquent I am in blogging. I figured going back to work would make our lives busy, and it certainly has.

Anyway, William has changed so much this past month. He now can sit up on his own and play with toys, can "scoot" along the ground, can roll over both ways, has his first tooth and started eating. All in the past month! Amazing!

In the Pool!

William went in the pool for the first time yesterday. He loved the water and was so content the entire time. We can't wait to take him again!

William's 5 months!

William turned five months old! Ben and I both keep saying how much we love this age. He's "talking" so much now, loves playing with us (touching our faces, playing peek-a-boo, imitating sounds), can roll over, can almost sit up on his own, thinks his toes are a new toy that should go in his mouth, and can hold his pacifier and bottle on his own. He loves to just play with the pacifier, and I think that's because he's now officially a thumb sucker. I guess both Ben and I were thumb suckers, so maybe it was just a matter of time. Anyway, here are some pictures from the last few weeks!

Our former exchange student from Paraguay, Pame, came to visit us for a few days. William just loved playing with Pame.

We put William in his high chair for the first time. He didn't eat in there (not yet) - just played - while we ate dinner. He looks like such a big boy - I just had to share.

Auntie Katherine and Ben thought Fridays should be long sock days - a throw back to how my Dad used to wear his socks to baseball practice. We took a photo. I think William looks ready for t-ball practice:)

Smoky Mountains

We had a great vacation at the Smoky Mountains last weekend. We had so much fun hiking in the park, picnicking at a beautiful river in the park and hanging at the cabin.

Time with Auntie Katherine...

I started back at work two weeks ago. So, William gets to spend his weekdays with his Auntie Katherine (until she has to return to teaching). They have so much fun playing together, and it makes Ben and I really happy William gets to spend his time with someone who loves him so much)!

Will is 4 months old!

His latest accomplishments are many - he found his toes and loves to hold on to them, he LOVES to babble to anyone who will listen and he just loves to put everything in his mouth. What a fantastic month it has been!
