Napa & Louisville

We have had lots of fun trips the past month, so thought I'd share a few photos from our trips.

We had a family trip to Napa a few weeks ago. We visited four wineries and went to a really fun seven course dinner at the Del Dotto winery one night. Yes, I said seven course....they had to roll me out of there when the dinner was finished. I have NEVER eaten so much in one sitting!

Katherine under the canopy of trees...it was so beautiful!
Nana and Grandpa...
The "adults" at the Del Dotto winery dinner. William got to stay at the hotel and play for the evening.

A tired pup on our way to the airport to fly back home...
We went to the Breeder's Cup last weekend at Churchill Downs to watch Switch run. What a thrill that was, especially when she came in 2nd! We had a blast.

William is sitting next to his Daddy on the airplane having a great time. This is on the way home. The way there we weren't so lucky. As we were landing (from a very bumpy flight), he threw up all over his Daddy, and the legs and bags of two men behind us. We felt very bad! I should have taken a picture of Ben's shirt - it was funny watching him walk through the airport with throw up all over his shirt. Oh, what a memory that will be:)
Grandpa looking dapper before the races...
Mima and William...those tickets gave him lots of enjoyment all day long...
 The girl cousins!
 The boy cousins...

This is the ESPN camera man who has his camera on John and Grandpa. Not a very good picture, but ESPN thought Switch had a good shot of winning, so they had the camera ready to roll...

I just love William's face in this picture with "Grandpa David"....William was a little overdue for some sleep by this point in the day...

Willian is 8 Months Old!

William turned eight months old this past weekend. He's so fun right now. I think I say this every month, but I mean it! Anyway, this past month he really started showing his little personality. He's now army crawling everywhere and really interested in getting his hands on anything within his reach. He just loves our cell phones, our house phone and the remote control. And, he just popped his third tooth - his first on top.

My little giraffe

We had a fun Halloween with our little giraffe. We had fun walking him up and down the boardwalk, and then handing out candy. On a side note, it's amazing the age range of trick-or-treaters we got.....6 month olds, 70 year olds, and many in between.
