Our New Home, and some Good Pics of William

Well, we just got moved into our new home, and are starting the seemingly endless task of unpacking boxes and deciding where to put all of the stuff. Our goal is to find a home for everything that was in a box, even the stuff that never got unpacked in our prior home. That stuff has only been packed for six years:)

Anyway, here's a picture of our new home, and some recent pictures of William. He just turned 10 months old. He is starting to stand up and walk along the couch, the window sills, his crib. It's so fun to watch his expression of satisfaction that he can actually stand!

Napa & Louisville

We have had lots of fun trips the past month, so thought I'd share a few photos from our trips.

We had a family trip to Napa a few weeks ago. We visited four wineries and went to a really fun seven course dinner at the Del Dotto winery one night. Yes, I said seven course....they had to roll me out of there when the dinner was finished. I have NEVER eaten so much in one sitting!

We went to the Breeder's Cup last weekend at Churchill Downs to watch Switch run. What a thrill that was, especially when she came in 2nd! We had a blast.

William is sitting next to his Daddy on the airplane having a great time. This is on the way home. The way there we weren't so lucky. As we were landing (from a very bumpy flight), he threw up all over his Daddy, and the legs and bags of two men behind us. We felt very bad! I should have taken a picture of Ben's shirt - it was funny watching him walk through the airport with throw up all over his shirt. Oh, what a memory that will be:)

Willian is 8 Months Old!

William turned eight months old this past weekend. He's so fun right now. I think I say this every month, but I mean it! Anyway, this past month he really started showing his little personality. He's now army crawling everywhere and really interested in getting his hands on anything within his reach. He just loves our cell phones, our house phone and the remote control. And, he just popped his third tooth - his first on top.

We had a fun Halloween with our little giraffe. We had fun walking him up and down the boardwalk, and then handing out candy. On a side note, it's amazing the age range of trick-or-treaters we got.....6 month olds, 70 year olds, and many in between.

A great weekend...

We had a great time last weekend with Mima and Uncle Jacob.  It was so much fun to have them out here.

Friday night we had dinner with baby London, her parents (of course), and Cathy and Tom. That was a lot of fun to get the little cousins together.

William got another case of the giggles...

William doesn't often get a case of the giggles, but he did this afternoon. We love capturing it on video because it doesn't happen very often.

6 Months Old!

Wow. I can't believe it's been six months since William blessed our lives. And, I can't believe how delinquent I am in blogging. I figured going back to work would make our lives busy, and it certainly has.

Anyway, William has changed so much this past month. He now can sit up on his own and play with toys, can "scoot" along the ground, can roll over both ways, has his first tooth and started eating. All in the past month! Amazing!
